Divilacan, Isabela– On the morning of June 23, 2022, The National Telecommunications Commission Region 2 conducted a Restricted Radiotelephone Operator’s Certificate for Land Mobile (RLMOP) Seminar with a bit of discussion on Gender and Development (GAD) conducted by Atty. Myra C. De Guzman-Palattao and Engr. Joana Marie B. Capalungan in the Municipality of Divilacan, Isabela. The seminar was attended by 85 participants from the different sectors of Government with the special participation of the Municipal Mayor, Hon. Venturito C. Bulan.
The Restricted Radiotelephone Operators (RLM) Certificate for Land Mobile Stations is a written document that the Commission issues to a competent person to allow them to operate the radiotelephone service of a legally licensed land mobile or portable radio station. On the other hand, Gender and Development (GAD) is an act defining gender-based sexual harassment in streets, public spaces, online, workplaces, and educational or training institutions, providing protective measures and therefore prescribing penalties.
At the end of the seminar, participants were recognized individually and were awarded Restricted Radiotelephone Operators (RLM) certificates for completing the said seminar.
